For Clients

Thank you for spending time on my website and considering me as your photographer. I feel honored that you have taken time to have a look at my work, and shown interest in me. Here are some FAQ about me.

How long have you been in the industry?

I started my journey in 2013 as a part time photographer and end of 2015 decided to become a full time photographer.

Do you have a studio?

Yes! Please look at the next page – Studio – to read more about my home based studio!

What do you shoot with?

I LOVE Canon and shoot with the best Canon gear on the market.

Do you have back up gear?

I have back up gear incase worse scenario and I need to use another camera. Both are top of the range. You are welcome to email me should you like to request more about my gear I shoot with.

Do you shoot alone?

I enjoy shooting alone, and take full pride in it, but I have my sidekick & best friend, Pierre, occasionally with me when a assistant or sometimes second photographer is requested. He is amazing with the camera, and a great help at weddings. I also occasionally use other photographers from the industry to second shoot me at a wedding when requested so.

Do you meet up with clients before booking you as their wedding photographer?

I surely do if the client requests to meet me first. It is a good ground floor for clients to meet their potential photographer and see how they get along with them. The first tick off the block of course is liking their photos and style of editing!

How far ahead should I book my wedding?

Some wedding bookings are really last minute (Meaning half a year before the wedding) while others are booked over a year in advance. It is best to email me your wedding date to confirm availability, and to book as soon as possible.

How far ahead should I book my shoot?

Shoots can be booked once you are aware of your availability. A couple of months ahead is perfect, and a few weeks ahead also fine. Best is to confirm my availability and we can arrange it from there.

Do you shoot on location?

All my shoots are on location, I shoot wherever you have in mind. I can also help to think of ideas and possible locations.

What happens if it starts raining the morning before the shoot?

If it starts raining before our shoot has started we will reschedule for a more appropriate day.

How much deposit has to be paid to confirm bookings?

Whether it’s an on location Shoot or Wedding, both require 50% booking fee to confirm booking date.

What type of shoots do you offer?

I do a lot of engagement & couple shoots, proposal shoots, family, portraits, maternity, studio and corporate shoots. And of course Wedding photography.

Where are you located?

I am in Brackenfell, Cape Town.

Do you travel?

I surely do. Please email me your enquiry and we can discuss some details.

When are the best times to shoot?

Best times are sunrise, or during golden hour, sunset.

When do we receive our photos?

Shoots take 2-3 weeks and weddings 8-10 weeks to complete. It might be sooner, but all will depend on the work load at that stage.
